About

What Signiq is

Signiq helps you build ASL fingerspelling skills through various modes. Alphabet mode guides you through A-Z handshapes, word mode checks each letter as you fingerspell complete words, and reading mode strengthens recognition by asking you to identify fingerspelled words on screen.

How feedback works

During camera-based practice, Signiq uses computer vision and custom machine learning models to analyse your hand in real time. It displays a confidence score showing how closely your handshape matches the target, while highlighted finger positions suggest where adjustments may be needed. Motion signs are evaluated across multiple frames to recognize movement patterns.

Common questions

Can I practice without creating an account?

Yes. You can use normal alphabet, words, and reading practice without creating an account.

Why might my sign not be recognized?

Lighting, camera angles, distance, hand visibility, and motion timing, can all affect recognition.

Does Signiq store camera video?

No, Signiq does not store your camera video. Your camera is used only for hand tracking while a session is running.
